1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using BookNetwork, you agree to be bound by these Terms. BookNetwork provides: Book reading/sales, Reader accounts and libraries, Author uploads and profiles, Likes, reviews, and community features.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 15 years old to create an author account. Readers of all ages may use the platform. By using BookNetwork, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Author Accounts & Content Policy
- Author Approval: All author accounts and book uploads are subject to review by BookNetwork admins.
- Review Period: Uploaded books will be reviewed within 2 business days before going live.
- Prohibited Content: No plagiarism, hate speech, illegal content, or explicit material without proper tagging.
- Warnings & Bans: Violations will result in a warning. After 3 violations, your account will be automatically and permanently banned.
4. BookNetwork Studio & Monetization
BookNetwork Studio is the dashboard for authors to upload books, track reads, and view earnings.
- To be eligible for monetization, authors must meet requirements set by BookNetwork including verified identity and content compliance.
- Earnings are calculated based on reads, purchases, and platform policy.
- BookNetwork reserves the right to change monetization rules with 14 days notice via email or platform announcement.
5. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You may sign up via Email, Google, or Phone OTP. You agree to provide accurate and current information.
6. Intellectual Property
Authors retain ownership of their books. By uploading, you grant BookNetwork a worldwide, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote your content on the platform.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Banned users will be notified by admin alert through Bnetadmins.site.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms. We will post the "Last Updated" date above.
